It cuts itself off from the main power if there are hours of inactivity. It is equipped with extremely durable metal chain system. it can be equipped with an optional metal detection system. On detecting metal, it alerts the operator and starts the operation only when metal is removed. The shredder is quite easy to maintain. It features an automatic oiling system that extends the shredder's life and saves the user from the trouble of manual oiling.
