The SEM High Security Cross-Cut Paper Shredder is NSA/DOD approved, meeting the performance requirements of the NSA/CSS Spec 02/01. This shredder includes an automatic oiler, providing optimal lubrication for consistent peak performance. One gallon of oil and a pack of bags are included as well, giving you everything you need to make the most of this powerful unit. The shredder will shred up to 11 sheets of paper per pass with an end particle size of .8mm x 5mm for Level 6 security. The motor has double protection against overheating, and it's insulated for noise reduction. Optional 220 volt version available at no extra charge.

This Unit is a Medium Duty paper shredder, loaded with the latest in shredding technology.
The 2226CC/3 comes standard with a "Factory Installed Automatic Oiler" with a ONE GALLON plastic jug that is "easy" to replace with the "quick disconnect" feature. No pouring to fill messy oil reservoirs. The easy to install Oil Bracket can be positioned on either side or the back of the shredder depending on your space requirements and desire.
This "Bundled" system includes a "Factory Installed Automatic Oiler and a "Basic Starter Kit" consisting of One Gallon of SEM high viscosity shredder oil to keep the cutting heads operating at optimum performance and a package of waste collection bags. The Model 2226CC/3 also features the SPS ( Safety Protection System )....an electronically controlled safety flap in the feed throat to help prevent industrial accidents as well as the ECC ( Electronic Capacity Control ) feature to help prevent paper jams by indicating sheet capacity during the shredding process. A visual feed meter and oil indicator to help prevent overfeeding and to show auto oiling functionality. Auto functions are also Controlled by the easy-to-use EASY SWITCH panel with integrated visual indicators.
